The Arkansas Valley Conduit is one feature of the Fryingpan-Arkansas Project authorized in 1962.
The conduit once constructed will provide higher quality water
to municipal entities in the Arkansas River Valley East of Pueblo Reservoir.
Currently Senator Allard, with the co-sponshorship of Senator Salazar and
Representative Musgrave introduced the Arkansas Valley Conduit legislation as
S. 1106 and
H.R. 2555.
